Day 12- Consecrate yourselves unto the Lord and He will do amazing things in you and among you.

Jos 3:5 Joshua told the people, "Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do amazing things among you."

Rom 6:13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.
Rom 6:14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

Rom 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
Rom 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

You may be thinking what does it mean to concentrate myself? To concentrate basically means to purify, sanctify or to set yourself apart. How do we do this? by presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God. Our bodies stand for all our members and, by extension, our entire lives. Total commitment is our reasonable service. It is our reasonable service in this sense: if Jesus Christ the Son of God has died for me, then the least I can do is live for Him. Reasonable service is also translated “spiritual worship.” As believers-a royal priesthood, we do not come to God with the bodies of slain animals but with the spiritual sacrifice of yielded lives. We also offer to Him our service (Rom 15:16), our praise (Heb 13:15), and our possessions (Heb 13:16).

Secondly, We are urged not to be conformed to this world, or Don't let the world around you squeeze you into its own mold. When we come to the kingdom of God, we should abandon the thought-patterns and lifestyles of the world around us. Jesus Christ died to deliver us from this world. The world should be crucified to us, and we should be crucified to the world. It would be absolute disloyalty to the Lord for believers to love the world. Anyone who loves the world is an enemy of God.

We should not only be separated from the world; we should be transformed by the renewing of our mind, which means that we should think the way God thinks, as revealed in the Bible. Then we can experience the direct guidance of God in our lives. And we will find that, instead of being distasteful and hard, His will is good and acceptable and perfect.

Here then are three keys for knowing God's will.
1. The first is a yielded body unto the Holy Spirit.
2. The second a separated life unto God.
3. The third a transformed mind by His Word and Spirit.

As we consecrate ourselves, the LORD will do amazing things in us and among us!
