Look Like Jesus-Can I Obsess Too Much Over Angels?

Today's Question: Can I obsess too much over angels?

I love studying angels. I don’t know why, I’ve just always found them fascinating. I know I'm not the only one. Many, like me, have found them so fascinating that I think they have pushed their fascination to the point of idolism, giving them names when the Bible does not. For example some angels like Ariel (lion of God) are named by reputation more than actual words. Others are given titles but never named, such as the angel of death that fell on Egypt for the tenth plague, but again never named. We see angels as winged men/women. but the bible never says they are all male, nor does it describe them as anything but servants of God. I remember asking for God to turn me into an angel the most beautiful, and powerful creature he ever made in my opinion.

Yet the bible says we will judge them some day. Which scares me due to the fact they have watched us, protected us and helped guide us (or so I’ve come to believe) to God. What right do I have to judge them, or even ridicule them? Some are so amazing like the those around the throne with a thousand eyes, the seraphim with six wings 2 to fly four to shield them from God. The cherubim who watch the tree of life at the garden of Eden with a flaming sword that cuts all directions. What amazing creations he has. Sometimes I think I idolize them because I envy them. They are worthy of being in direct contact and service to God himself, and we are not.
Only 3 maybe four angels are named in the bible. Gabriel whose name means God is my strength, or Power of God. Michael whose name means Who is like God, or Likeness of God. Lucifer which means light bringer, who later was renamed to Satan which means Enemy from what I have read, and also Abaddon which some sources say can mean the black sun. from him we get the word Abandon. Like I said, I love studying angels and who they are and what they do. but my question is should I? And is that what a Christian should do? Being fascinated by God's creations is fine I think, but pushing it to Idolatry, or Obsession is too far, or so I believe. What does the bible say, and what does everyone else think?
