As is tradition, I always play through the storyline campaign mode of Starcraft, usually around December.
This year I'm a little bit late, so we're starting in January.

PREVIOUSLY: The Terran factor known as "The United Earth Directorate" made their entrance into the war-torn sector of space, quickly dispatching the remnants of The Dominion and seizing complete control of the sector. Shortly after their entry, they secured the vaunted "Psi Disrupter" and successfully activated it, shattering the zerg forces abilities to retain control of the swarm. It came at a high cost however, as Stukov gave his life to activate it.
With the zerg swarms communication broken, they successfully enslaved the overmind and now have full control over the zerg in the sector.

TONIGHT: After the events of the UED's invasion into the sector, only 1 person is capable of standing against them, Kerrigan. Although she stands alone in this endeavor to reclaim her rightful place as the Queen of Blades, she makes some very uncanny allies along the way. What will become of James Raynor? Kerrigan? Mengsk? Artanis? The UED? Zeratul? The Finale is about to begin, what truths await at the end of this story? Don't want to miss this.
