PLANET OF THE VAMPIRES 1965 - The crew members of two giant spaceships crash-land on a forbidding, unexplored planet which had sent out a distress signal. The disembodied inhabitants of the world possess the bodies of the crew who died during the crash, and use the animated corpses to stalk and kill the remaining survivors.
Director Mario Bava generally had full authority to create the film as he wished, and he went all out on what many consider his most artistic film exercise, yet he did not fail in presenting a captivating plot.
