Fire in Llandudno Misses Luckily Misses Homes

Info from Licensor: A fire started on Sunday evening (15 January) just outside one of Cape Town’s most exclusive suburbs Llandudno. The fire came close to homes, but fortunately, there was a fire break already in place to stop the fire from reaching homes and keeping the residents safe. Firefighters and emergency services arrived on the scene at around 8:30 pm on the scene to stop the fire from spreading further. Lucking the wind direction was blowing away from the suburb, which also aided firefighters in keeping the fire away. Llandudno boasts some of the most expensive homes in South Africa. The fire scorched the side of the mountain but had died out and was under control by the morning.
