Today we read about the people who resettled in Jerusalem after being taken to Babylon and the genealogy of Saul. Jeremiah is taken to Egypt with Judah's rebellious remnant, and God tells them about the death and captivity that will come from Babylon. Isaiah prophesies Israel's sin and the servant's obedience.
