Buffalo Pop Artist Theodore Winters Shares His Happiness With His Attention Grabbing Work

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW-TV) — With bold colors and clean lines Theodore Winters creates eye catching work. Inspired by comic books and a by-gone-era the Pop artist says he's just an old fashioned guy. He says "my bio says artist time traveler because that's what I want people to do. I want them to travel to when things were simpler.

Theodore's work is seen around town. He's painted pieces for Buffalo Optical, Tim Horton's and and a variety of other businesses. You won't find his work in galleries, but you can see it on Instagram where the artist has over 37,000 followers. His art hearkens back to the 1950's - he says "maybe I was born in the wrong era."

His colorful creations sell for hundreds of dollars. Theodore says "I just love to paint, it makes me happy. Hopefully I can spread that to other people." You can see his work on Instagram at @TheodoreWinters
