Here is a recipe for creamy kheer, a traditional Indian dessert made with rice, milk, and sweeteners:

Ingredients:

1 cup basmati rice
4 cups whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup sugar (or to taste)
1 tsp cardamom powder
1 tsp saffron strands
1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions:

Rinse the rice and soak in water for 30 minutes.
Drain the rice and add it to a heavy-bottomed pot with the milk and cream. Bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the mixture is thick and creamy.
Add the sugar, cardamom powder, saffron strands, and chopped nuts (if using) and stir well.
Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the sugar is completely dissolved and the kheer has thickened to your desired consistency.
Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
Serve the kheer warm or chilled, garnished with chopped nuts, if desired.
