Jedan od tri negrčka manastira na Svetoj Gori jeste Hilandar, srpska carska lavra. Gotovo nema Srbina koji s ponosom neće navesti imena osnivača Hilandara, Svetog Simeona i Svetog Save, bivšeg velikog župana Stefana Nemanje i njegovog najmlađeg sina Rastka.

One of the three non-Greek monasteries on Mount Athos is Hilandar, the Serbian Imperial Lavra.There are hardly any Serbs who would not proudly mention the names of the founders of Hilandar, Saint Simeon and Saint Sava, the former grand prefect Stefan Nemanja and his youngest son Rastko. They are also the founders of the independent Serbian state (Nemanja) and the autocephalous Serbian Orthodox Church (St. Sava).
