Bob Chiaradio calls for independent audit of all Westerly, RI public school libraries and the age appropriate content available for all students. He believes most of the teacher grants program for books are used for the greater good of students but grant requests much be specific and transparent for public consumption.

Thanks to Seth Logan, Policy 6100 was revised to state any parent or guardian could request a list of inventory of title. The fly in the ointment to this revision lies in the Westerly Teacher’s Association contract that states the inventory is not allowed. A conundrum of quizzical proportions as to why Policy 6100 was revised when it opposes WTA contract.
