Marcus Aurelius Short

If you haven't dived into Marcus Aurelius, it's a very powerful book.
Marcus Aurelius was a Roman emperor and philosopher who ruled from 161 to 180 AD. He is known for his philosophical writings, particularly his personal journal, "Meditations," which is considered a classic of Stoic philosophy. In these writings, Aurelius reflects on the Stoic philosophy of virtue, the nature of the universe, and the role of the individual in society. He emphasizes the importance of living in accordance with reason and nature, and the need to detach oneself from the fleeting pleasures and distractions of the world in order to live a virtuous and fulfilling life. Despite his high status and immense power, Aurelius is also remembered for his humility and wisdom, and his writings continue to be widely read and studied to this day.
