Only Australia Denies that Vaping saves lives! Why?

Why is Australia the only country on earth that requires a prescription for someone to vape with nicotine?

Why do Australian authorities insist that vaping is worse than smoking, when almost every other country on earth is using it to save lives as it helps people quit cigarettes?

And could the powers-that-be really be lying to our faces when they know the truth?
