All American Burger

1/3 pound burger:

Ground Chuck separated into 5.3 oz patties.
Season patties with olive oil, salt and pepper.

Had cast iron, stainless or grill to medium high heat. Once the cooking surface is fully heated, add a tbsp of avocado oil or other cooking oil, then place burger in pan. For medium doneness, cook for 2.5 minutes, flip, cook for 1 minute, then add cheese and cover for final 1.5 minutes.

Top with whatever you like — I went with:
Gouda cheese, pickle, onion, tomato, lettuce, and homemade burger sauce!
