Greta Thunberg, the poster child for climate change is back in the news by getting herself detained by Germany police while protesting a proposed coal mine. Before being detained Greta said that Germany was one of the worlds top polluters. In reality Germany accounts for only 1.8% of the worlds C02 emissions. In comparison, China tops the list with a whopping 30.9% and the US is considerably lower at 13.5%
