Try these exercises to develop your upper chest #fitness
If you’ve seen any of my posts before, you know that they’re mainly to provide humor/entertainment, but I do like to throw in some good info every now and then 🤓 Like anything in life, there are things that some people are naturally good at and some things that people naturally struggle with. Building a great physique no different. For some people, certain muscles/muscle groups/etc are easy to build while others don’t come as naturally. For me, it was building my chest; specially, my upper chest.
If you’re also someone who wants to develop their upper chest to build that rounded, aesthetic chest you undoubtably want, here are some exercises that can help, and some general tips for getting the most out of them:
1️⃣ Incline Bench Press
2️⃣ Incline Dumbbell Flyes
3️⃣ Incline Cable Flyes
TIPS:
✳️ Focus on form first, weight second. For guys especially, I know it’s tempting to want to bench a lot weight, but don’t fall into the trap of “ego lifting.” If, for example, you’re having arch your back like crazy and contort your body to get all your reps, then you need to lower the weight until you can complete them without sacrificing your form. Your strength will take care of itself.
✳️ Steady, controlled reps. I see a lot of dudes who just pound out their reps as quickly as they can. Don’t be one of them. Like the tortoise said, slow and steady wins the race.
