Did you know that Muzan was not a born demon? Yes!
He was born as a weak human. His heart stopped multiple times when he was in his mother's womb and as he was to be cremated, he cried for the first time.
He lived and grown up as an adult but despite that, he was not supposed to live long.
For that, a doctor gave him medicine, but the medicine did not work. Muzan became furious and killed the doctor, but after some time, he noticed the medicine’s effect and he discovered that he is not weak anymore.
But by gaining this power, he also lost many things, like the ability to go in sunlight and he had the sudden urge to consume human flesh. That’s how he became a demon.

So, Muzan injected Michikatsu with a large amount of his blood. Muzan offered Michikatsu that he would live forever and perfect his skills and after three days, Michikatsu turned into a demon named Kokushibo.
Later Muzan created more demons like Akaza, Douma, etc with his blood and helped them live longer and a life full of power.
