Do you rough house with your dogs? I find that it can have great benefits. My dogs like to play rough with each other and myself. Anytime I rough house with them like this not only do they seem very mentally satisfied after but they are extremely calm and mellow because it drains their energy. As long as you have your dog in control at all times, they stop when you command it, and are respectful I find it can be a great tool to use to bond with your dog.
