Jorge's Watching the Skies in Los Angeles - Filmed with Bestguarder Nightvision Binoculars

Jorge and I have been in touch for over a year now, he lives out in LA and has quite a bit of different types of camera gear he uses. Lately quite a few of his videos have been captured on his Bestguarder binoculars - I do believe you can record directly from them like the Sionyx brand, and perhaps they might even be slightly cheaper.

I took two videos I asked him to share with me and did my best to try to stabilize the footage. After three hours of working on it, the video wouldn't export.... so my work around was to screen capture the video frame inside the editor and that's what you're seeing here.

The first video, shows something disappearing. If this isn't a satellite going dark as it falls outside of line of sight of the sun, than what could it be?

The second video, is potentially also a satellite, as the satellite spins, it can often reflect the light from the sun on it's solar panels, then as it continues to spin, the sun stops reflecting on the solar panels

Here's a few of my favorite trackers to use at discerning what's what for my own personal captures, I highly recommend anyone doing sky watching to use these in checking over your own stuff, if not just for the sake of being able to say - I checked the satellite tracker and nothing was there, etc. etc.

Jorge is going to continue to capture stuff and I look forward to continuing to see what he catches! Thanks so much again Jorge for sharing your footage with me and allowing me to share it here!
