Velma Star Mandy King DOUBLES DOWN On Agenda Marketing Despite Backlash | HBO Max, Scooby-Doo

HBO Max's new series based on the beloved children's cartoon Scooby Dooby, Velma launched on Warner Bros Discovery streaming service. Well it was immediately wrought with backlash over the change in characters, the way teenage characters are presented in the show, and obviously a lack of Scooby-Doo himself! Well the reviews came in from the audience and it was rough to say the least. Many criticisms had to do with the over the top meta jokes and on the noise digs at people who are critical of lore changes to established characters.
