Rehabilitating Rooster (Cogburn) getting Reaquainted with his Rival (Magellen)

Cogburn (Black Jersey Giant Sitting near hens) had an infected toe that wouldn't heal. Ultimately, we had it amputated by the vet & he rehabbed inside with us for over a month. He still has a limp (we think due to an old thigh injury). We are keeping them separate during the day but at some point, they are going to have to work things out. Cogburn formerly was the dominant rooster but since he was inside our house, the dynamics changed. Dusty is the younger White "mutt" rooster (he is either a son or possibly a grandson of one of the roos). He is just happy to get some tail at this point & hasn't challenged Magellen or Cogburn.

We had clipped & sanded the spurs a few hours prior to them having their encounter. We aren't interested in them getting hurt. Husband broke it up. We are trying to get Cogburn's muscle & stamina back.
