Russian hockey player of the American Philadelphia Flyers club Ivan Provorov refused to participate in a rainbow support action before the game and wear an equally rainbow sweater. He said that everyone has his own choice, and his choice is not to lose himself and be true to his religion.

The head coach of the club said that he respects his decision and sees no reason to remove the hockey player to the reserve because of this.
