Night Musings # 383 "I never knew you. Depart from me you evil doers!" Jesus' Words in Matthew 7:23

I am taking another look at several scripture verses in the new context of my personal experience with SOUL WORK, #shadowwork . Every one of the verses below speak of our INNER SOUL work, and how we cannot be established if our Ego and Soul are contrary to one another.

21 Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ Matt 7

26 Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, so that the outside may become clean as well. 27 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside, but on the inside are full of dead men’s bones and every kind of impurity." Matt 23
