Mayor Adams visits Southern border, offers criticism of federal government

Who knew Mexico and New York City shared a border? The migrants pouring into Texas and Arizona from Mexico these days end up on the social-welfare lists in the Big Apple and other cities led by Democratic mayors, so practically speaking, it all but does.

Additionally, Mr. Adams makes the logical argument that if we're going to let immigrants into the country and remain for years while they wait for an asylum hearing, they should be given the opportunity to work right now.

But Mr. Adams falls short by not criticizing the Biden Administration's stance on asylum law reform. As long as the border between the United States and Mexico is practically wide open, President Biden will continue to push for "comprehensive immigration reform," which will never happen. Mr. Mayor, you need to do more than just outline your difficulties if you want to find a solution. You must criticize the guilty politicians.
