A calming video of the drive down the lane to Beaconsfield Golf Club.
The Beaconsfield Golf Club was incorporated in 1904. It is one of Canada's oldest golf courses.

In 1929 the Clubhouse burned down but was rebuilt quickly. (The present clubhouse is the same one from that time period.) During the re-building process, other local clubs offered the use of their facilities for that season. To commemorate that gesture of friendship - the "Phoenix Invitational Tournament" was established (today one of the most prestigious amateur events in Eastern Canada).

The Club twice hosted the Canadian Open (in 1946 and 1956).

The Club is located in Montreal. (West Island).
This video features a drive down Golf Avenue to the Club.
Children throughout the decades have enjoyed tobogganing on the back slope of the golf course although sadly, this practice ended a couple of years ago due to liability/insurance concerns.
