Toyota Customer Gets $5,000 Payout on Protection Plan After Seeking Help from News Outlet

When a customer bought a brand new Toyota Highlander SUV from a dealerships, he was encouraged to buy a protection plan, That's what salesperson do, they upsell.

But when his SUV was stolen he decided to cash in on this policy. They refused so he sought the help of Global News in Toronto after exhausting all other avenues. It seems cancel culture is the new legal recourse.
