Capitol Building West Side 1.6.2021 part 4

This is a few minutes before 2 p.m. I wanted to catch how far back the crowd spread, but there was no way to see how many people were really there. I've heard them say it was several hundred thousand, but suspect it really was closer to a million.

Even so, you can see how relatively few of them actually made it to the Capitol lawn, and what you see the closest people doing is representative of 99.99% of the rally attendees. They certainly weren't "rioting". And I never heard them (except one man who was dressed in black, wearing a big gas mask) saying (or yelling) "let's go get 'em!" They were mostly chanting or just standing around talking. Protesting, as is supposed to be our right to do.
