Although the formal drug and vaccine regulator called South Africa Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) deems the COVID-19 vaccines safe and effective, as does the medical establishment (licensing bodies, medical schools, associations), and most of societies’ governing apparatus at least three community groups claim a very different contrarian reality. The three non-profit organizations disagree so much that they have taken their fight to the Gauteng High Court, Pretoria, to stop the COVID-19 mass vaccination program.
