HBO's 'The Last of Us' is a Pointless Adaptation

HBO's The Last of Us adaptation is out, and while it's not terrible, it's also completely pointless so far. It's only the first episode, so only time will tell if the show goes off the rails and tells its own story, but for now, it adds nothing of value to the story.
