In this third and final podcast in this series on Domestic Discipline, I trace the thoughts and practices of the corporal discipline of women from the middle ages to the mid-20th century.

I also show community disciplinary practices toward women which helped to discourage women from arguing with or disrespecting the men of their communities. And I discuss several high-profile 19th century court cases which dealt with the subject of domestic discipline.
