A former commander in Russia's Wagner mercenary group who fought in Ukraine has apparently fled to Norway seeking asylum. In interviews shared with Reuters by the Gulagu.net rights group, he describes alleged killings of Russian prisoners and a dramatic Arctic escape through forest and over breaking ice, with bullets flying.
