Celebrations have been taking place in Croatia as it achieved a milestone with the completion of a long-awaited megaproject; The Peljesac Bridge. It is among the largest infrastructures in Croatia currently and one of the most substantial EU infrastructural investments ever made. Geographically, it has finally united a divided Croatia, but consequently, it has cut off another country’s access to international waters.
