Crystallite size is the smallest - most likely single crystal in powder form. The crystallite size commonly determined by XRD.
Radiographic density (AKA optical, photographic, or film density) is a measure of the degree of film darkening. Technically it should be called "transmitted density" when associated with transparent-base film since it is a measure of the light transmitted through the film.
he quantification of dislocation density via the XRD method relies on this broadening of diffraction peaks that occur when atoms in crystal unit cells are displaced from their ideal position due to small crystallite (size broadening) below one micrometre and an abundance of lattice defects (strain broadening)
