One Thing I discovered about the Capone connection with the Ainsworth home, It was highly unlikely that Capone ever visited this location.... Here are the facts: Carrozzo bought the Farm in the fall of 1937. At that time Capone was in Prison. Capone was released from Alcatrz , January 6th, 1939 and was transferred to Terminal Island to serve time for a lesser charge. He was released November 16, 1939, afterward he spent time in a hospital located in Baltimore Maryland. He was there in 1940. When he was released, he returned to his Miami, Florida Home. Mike Carrozzo died August 4th, 1940. That would leave only a 7 month window of opportunity for Capone to visit the Ainsworth location from Miami or His home at 7244 S. Prairie in Chicago... Capone was pretty much out of the loop at that time and during his Partnership with Ralph Capone, Unions were not his business angle. Before he went to prison, He made his money with the illegal sale of Beer. not union extortion..... Prohibition with lifted about the time he was sent to prison and Frank Nitti Ran the outfit while Capone was away... Nitti was all about Union influence, controlling the Bartender's and Movie Theater unions to generate income after prohibition, not Capone...
