The Eye of the Storm

The key thing we as followers of Jesus must learn today is how to listen to Holy Spirit. One thing you should know about Holy Spirit, the messages come in many ways. And Holy Spirit does this in order to keep us from getting in a rut.

The deadliest threat to our faith is familiarity. Holy Spirit always adds some mix of mystery, riddle, or obscurity to messages so we must draw closer and seek deeper understanding in the context of relationship with Holy Spirit.

God has raised up many prophets in the past few years. And there were prophets speaking before as well. But it's not healthy for Followers of Jesus to rely solely on prophets. We must be able to walk in the Spirit and hear for ourselves.

As an example, Holy Spirit is telling me we are in the eye of the storm. The shaking up till now has been in the spirit. We're in a period of relative calm--the eye of the storm. But the second half of the storm is going to be epic.
