American Woman Becomes Orthodox Christian Nun and Moves to Russia! - Mother Cornelia Rees

Mother Cornelia Rees, back then known as Caroline, was born and raised in in the state of Indiana, USA. She grew up a Protestant, but was gradually drawn to both Russia and the Orthodox church, in part due to her love of Dostoevsky and his writings. But what made her journey to Russia while it was still the USSR, become an Orthodox nun, and finally decide to leave her homeland behind and find her place in her beloved, adopted country? This is her story, one many Orthodox Americans may be able to relate to.
