Shuzhi Kang, a woman residing in California in the United States, recently reported that two of her family members were abducted by Chinese police in October 2022 due to their practice of Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline that is forbidden in China. Kang explained that the police also confiscated her family members' apartment, car, and computer. Kang has been reaching out to the local government in order to send letters to Chinese authorities and urge them to free her relatives. She stated, “I'm contacting [local government] to send letters to [Chinese authorities] asking to release [them].”
