Oak Hill Church of Christ preaching minister, Randy Sterling, delivers a message on the Good News of Christ's Resurrection for Easter Sunday.

Some fans of mystery stories are fearful of "spoilers" when they try to look up information about their favorite book, movie, or tv show online. They don't want to find out what happens at the end because they want to be surprised, and so they avoid reading and learning too much.

God, by contrast, loves spoilers. He wants you to know the truth about the great miracle of Christ's Resurrection. In fact, He wants you to know just what you're getting into when you decide to follow Him long before you start worrying about reading or watching anything.

The spoiler of God's story is that He wins. He wins the battle against evil and wickedness. Against hate and fear. He even wins the battle against death itself. Jesus' Resurrection is the triumphal sign that God's plan for salvation works. By placing your trust and faith in God through Jesus and believing in His power, you can be transformed not only in this life but in the next.

Through Jesus, you can also share in God's victory over every horrible thing, and rejoice in the fact that you will have a share in everlasting life with God.

Every person's life is different and the truth of God's story meets everyone at different points in life and in different ways. This message explores the ways in which the saving power of the Good News changes lives for the better.

This Easter, don't be afraid to read the end of the story first. God can't wait for you to see it and believe.
