So for the first trip of 2023, I have to report that it was really fun and chaotic LOL. Our plan was to go to the Charles C Deam Wilderness and camp in a place we call the "Pinegrove." It is a camp spot we have not visited in a while and I was pretty excited to be able to get out of the house after a month of Flu, C19, and a Pinched Nerve in my back. Our buddy Hoot on the Trail had a friend who was coming with us named Bobby who is a really cool dude. When we got to the campsite, there was a guy already there named Dan. Turns out Dan watches my channel and recognized me. I asked him if it was okay if we camped with him. Originally he was planning on leaving but he decided to camp and hang out with us. The jury is still out on whether that was a good idea for him or not but I am glad he stayed. Overall, it was a fantastic overnighter and we ate well, stayed warm, and had a great time.
