Wat Pa Lelai Nonthaburi Thailand วัดป่าเลไลยก์ นนทบุรี - 500 Year Old Chedi - with Drone Footage

A relatively unknown temple in Nonthaburi is Wat Pa Lelai. The Chedi was built during the middle Ayutthaya style along with the ordination hall. It is estimated to be around 500 years old but no one knows for sure since all the old records have been lost over the years. The temple was also popular for King Taksin to visit when the capital was moved from Ayutthaya to Tonburi.

The temple is small but it is well maintained. They are currently building a new Wihan between the ordination hall and the Chedi. It is worth a short visit to see the chedi and take a few pictures.
