Perry Richardson of "Stryper" interview with John the Ninja

Heavy Metal greats Stryper are coming to the Landis Theater in Vineland, NJ May 10th and I had the pleasure to speaking with their Bassist Perry Richardson before their appearance. Perry is a man who knows no bounds as he has toured with some of the most widely known bands of his generation. From Gospel, to Rock, and even country Perry has been holding down vocals and bass for acts such as Firehouse,Trace Adkins, Craig Morgan, and of course STRYPER!

His love for music and need to feel like he was part of a family led him to Stryper who are one of the most successful heavy metal bands of the 80's. Stryper has time and time again proven just because they are christians doesn't mean that their music is unsuperior to their counter parts like Slayer, Anthrax, Warrant, White Snake, and so one. The band has Platinum records, Gold Records, and fans world wide that can not be compared to others because of their dedication to the band. When Chris Jericho says you are, "edgy and cool" thats validation.

Perry was a long time fan of Stryper and now is the force of rythem that pushes the music when they perform. He can be clearly heard when he plays and it's obvious he is in this brotherhood as a full member of the band.
