BMS install, wiring, tools, materials, techniques - Upgrades part 2 of 2

In this second installment of the upgrades to my solar system, I complete the wiring and layout on my 8 cell bank of EVE 3.2V 260Ah LiFePO4 batteries to a pair of JBD SP04S034-L4S 200A BMS units to form two 12V parallel battery packs.

I show the tools and materials required and how to use them in completing the wiring project, culminating in a function test of the battery bank and solar charge controller. Demonstrated are thick gauge wire cutting, stripping, and crimping of lug terminals. I also demonstrate crimping on and heat shrinking ring terminals on fine gauge wires.
