Sabaton Gets a Great Swedish Honor For Their Heavy Metal Education, Weirdos Try to Take it AWAY!

One of the best Metal bands out there right now is Sweden's Sabaton. If you enjoy powerful vocals, driving beats and deep lyrics, this is the band for you. For their work on 2022's "The War to End All Wars" album, the Swedish Skeptic's Association awarded them the prestigious "Enlightener of the Year Award," the first Metal Band to receive said honor.

Weirdos in "music journalism," not satisfied with their apolitical music, decided to mill though old interviews and reference a 2015 concert in Crimea as evidence that Sabaton is unworthy of the accolade. Also referencing Spotify removing the great "Carolus Rex" from a pro-Sweden playlist as reason to strip them of the award. Par Sundstrom, the band's bassist and founding member encapsulated what everyone thinks of this effort, he wasn't aware of Spotify's actions and doesn't care!
