1/14/23 Torah #13 - How a Family becomes a Nation - Exodus 1-6:1

A relatively small family entered Egypt and was successful for a time. They grew more and more numerous, but a quick change in political leadership turned the situation into persecution. The new leader wanted to take their prosperity, use their labor and reduce their numbers, thus their threat.

But all of Pharaoh's plans were thwarted by two women who feared God more than any threat or persecution. As a result, the family, the people survived and a nation was born.
