Welcome to Rise Up!

In today’s conversation, we’re looking at what it means to be “unequally yoked” as mentioned in the Bible. Does it only apply to marriage, or could this important concept be applied also to other areas of our lives? What does scripture really mean?

We are looking at yokes in the natural world quickly to compare to the spiritual. Jesus said in Matthew 11: 28-30, 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Who are you yoked with, and how are you yoked? Are you both listening? Are you like-minded? Are you equally yoked?!

Lord, let us put on Your yoke each day!
