Sermon of His Holiness Pope Jacobus I on the 2nd Dominica after Epiphany...15 January 2023 AD...in today's Gospel Christ Our Lord teaches by His miracle at the marriage in Cana, Him changing water into wine, that the same applies to the miracle of Transubstantiation at every valid and true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, where by the supernatural Divine miracle of God the bread and wine are changed by the Divinely given, and by the Authority of the true Catholic Church declared, formula, where God Himself through the medium of the true sacerdotal soul comes to the altar of the Sacrifice and brings Himself for the true Catholic faithful to be enriched in soul by the Divine body of Christ Our Lord, as He Himself has promised and established to be done by His true Roman Catholic Church all days, even unto the consummation of the world...and so as Christ Our Lord has changed water into wine at the marriage feast in Cana, Galilee, so He does change simple wafer and wine on the altar which represents the Cross of Calvary, during the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, into His own body and blood, for those who are truly His, to live unto the life everlasting, partaking of the same Divine benefit of God Himself coming into their souls, for His everlasting glory. Amen.
