Just In: Four feared killed as UGM attack CUPP spokesperson’s home in Imo .
At least four persons were reportedly killed by unknown gunmen who attacked Akokwa community in Ideato north LGA of Imo State, on Saturday afternoon, January 14.
The deadly attack occurred at the home of National Spokesman of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere.
The unknown gunmen were said to have stormed his residence at about 3:00PM and opened fire on anything in sight.
It was gathered that the bandits also set several vehicles ablaze and abducted Ugochinyere’s uncle.
Ugochinyere announced the attack in an sos shared on his Twitter page.
Ugochinyere, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for Ideato Federal Constituency, had reportedly escaped assassination about a month ago, following an attack on his convoy.
