M9 Museum District (2014-2018) by Sauerbruch Hutton for Foundation of Venice (Mestre-Venezia)

M9 is more than a museum. It is a space for discovery and learning available to people of all ages and backgrounds. An inclusive place to reflect through an extensive educational program on the world we live in and the world we want, to feel part of a community and understand its roots together. With activities aimed at schools, families, continuing education of adults, new citizens, physical and social frailties, M9 is proposed as a tool for thinking and for discussing different ideas, cultures and generations.
