The Mesabi Miner coming into Sturgeon Bay, Wi through the Sturgeon Bay ship canal for winter layup & repairs on 1/14/2023, it was christened in 1977 to honor the men and women of the Mesabi Iron Range in Minnesota, It was built in Lorain, Ohio by the American Ship Building Company, and has since been a part of the Interlake Fleet of self unloading ships with three cargo hold belts and a 265’ unloading boom. The Mesabi Miner’s sister ship is the James R. Barker. Below are the addresses my YouTube channel which I no longer have access to, my Instagram page, HRI Services welding Facebook page, and my Facebook page Outdoor Pursuits, and some ship tracing apps.
