California's Newsom seeks Biden disaster declaration

California Governor Gavin Newsom said on Saturday (January 14) that he is seeking - and expects to receive - a major disaster declaration from U.S. President Joe Biden, as an historic series of atmospheric rivers continue to wreak havoc throughout the state.
