The Amsterdam Castle

The Amsterdam Castle is located in Amsterdam, NY. A former armory the Amsterdam Castle has been retrofitted into a wonderful hotel experience. You are transported to another time and place. You are surrounded by paintings, antiques, and the formal dining room is awe inspiring. Everywhere you look there is something new to discover, a gargoyle, a painting, or bespoke suits of armor!

There is a lot of history here as well. From what we were told JKF and his brother Robert Kennedy stayed at the hotel during their respective campaign trails. The couches that they sat in are roped off, so do not sit if you visit or stay!
